KOSIA
For this project, I chose to create an original clothing brand called KOSIA. I used Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

Design Process
Kosia is a combination of my first and last name (Alessia Kowalyk). The letters are rounded and give a handwritten bubble look to show creativity, personality, comfort, and friendliness.
I started off the brand with an Original collection of the logo on the hoodie. Three different options – the right side and middle on the front, and centered on the back.

Design Process
When I was brainstorming ideas, I decided to focus my designs on a simple thought that many people may feel everyday – a sentence they might say to themselves when they’re overthinking, “Why do you care so much?”. Turning this phrase into a hoodie people can wear was a thought that can be interpreted into many ways. For example, the phrase can be said to yourself or someone else, which makes it powerful, since the person wearing it can connect with it, and the person reading it can realize themselves that they don’t have to care so much about anything in their lives that is making them feel negatively.

Design Process
This design came to me fast because I designed what I was feeling in the moment – super tired, that I just wanted to sleep. I was doing work in class and after being exhausted, I just said “let me sleep”, and that’s how this design idea came to life. I have always loved ducks, I think they’re such cute animals, so I created a sleeping duck.

Design Process
I have always loved stars, whether it was doodling them on paper or looking up at the sky. I feel like stars are a symbol of wishing, dreaming, and having a bright day. I wanted to design a hoodie with stars that is keeping up with trends but is also keeping its originality. This is why there is a big star in the back – trending, and then mini stars on the hood – original.

Design Process
This design looks simple, however it creates a cute outfit. The big flowers covering the whole back of the hoodie accentuates the pop of colors. This makes the desing give off a lively feeling, and the flowers have motion to them making them fun and energetic.
