VERSUS Arcade

This was a group branding project for my program’s Brand Expo. My group and I created an arcade called VERSUS, and I created t-shirts for our promotional item.

Design Process

We had to create an original brand to showcase at our college, where people (family, friends, students, teachers, etc.) can look, interact, and engage in what we created. My group came up with the idea of creating an arcade, which focused on multiplayer games. This is where we came up with the name VERSUS, since people will be playing against each other in our multiplayer games. We chose green as our main color, as well as black and white, since it made us think of motherboards, xbox, and falling code in the matrix. 

I created our promotional item, and we decided shirts would be a fun way of promoting our brand. Each shirt represents the different games that we offered at our booth, like Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, and Gran Turismo. I created characters of each group member, including myself, playing the games. On the right side there are icons of the games, our favicon, and our ages as the level we reached (so we know later on how old we were when we created this brand). At the bottom, the word arcade is in big so people know what VERSUS is. On the bottom right, we have a mini message to whoever reads our shirts, so they know what they can expect when playing at our arcade.
